Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DeFi the System ("DTS," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, articles, token swap interface, coin flip game, DeFi rate aggregator, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use this Platform. By using DTS, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

2. Platform Description

DeFi the System is an independent Solana DeFi media platform that provides:

• Editorial articles and media content covering Solana DeFi
• A token swap interface powered by the Jupiter Ultra API (with a 0.1% platform fee)
• A provably fair coin flip game (with a 4% house edge)
• Live DeFi yield rates aggregated from on-chain protocols
• Links to third-party prediction markets and DeFi protocols

3. Wallet Connection & Non-Custodial Access

DTS integrates with non-custodial Solana wallets (such as Phantom, Solflare, and others) to enable on-chain interactions. When you connect your wallet:

• You retain full control of your wallet and private keys at all times.
• DTS never has access to, stores, or requests your private keys or seed phrases.
• You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and all transactions signed through it.
• You may disconnect your wallet at any time.

4. Token Swap (Jupiter Ultra)

The Platform provides a token swap interface that routes transactions through the Jupiter Ultra API. By using the swap feature:

• You acknowledge that a 0.1% platform fee is applied to swap transactions.
• DTS is not responsible for slippage, failed transactions, price impact, or the value of any tokens.
• Swap execution is handled by Jupiter Ultra and settled on the Solana blockchain. DTS does not custody funds at any point during the transaction.
• You are responsible for verifying token addresses and understanding the risks of decentralized trading.

5. Coin Flip Game

DTS offers a provably fair coin flip game. By participating:

• You acknowledge and accept a 4% house edge on each flip.
• The game is provably fair, and verification mechanisms are available to confirm outcomes.
• You accept the risk of loss. Gambling involves risk, and you should never wager more than you can afford to lose.
• You are responsible for ensuring that participation in crypto-based games is legal in your jurisdiction.

6. Content & Not Financial Advice

All articles, media content, yield rates, token information, and other materials on the Platform are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial decisions. DTS does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any particular token, protocol, or investment strategy.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content, branding, design, code, and media on DeFi the System is the intellectual property of DeFi the System. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, which permits sharing and adaptation for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution.

You may not use the DTS name, logo, or branding for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or connected systems.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of DTS or any third party.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or DTS team members.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission.
• Manipulate or exploit the coin flip game or swap interface through bots, scripts, or other automated means.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

The Platform integrates with and links to third-party services including Jupiter, DeFi Llama, CoinGecko, dFlow, Kalshi, Helius, and various Solana DeFi protocols. DTS is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. DTS does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DeFi the System and its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of the Platform, wallet interactions, token swaps, game participation, or reliance on any content provided.

You acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible and that DTS has no ability to reverse, cancel, or modify any on-chain transaction.

12. Termination

DTS reserves the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property) shall continue to apply.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
